U.S. 10K Classic

The 17th annual U.S. 10K Classic will be held on Labor Day morning, September 6, 2010. Approximately 11,000 runners, walkers, cyclists and inline skaters will compete one on of America's most challenging courses, raising awareness and funds for children's charities and the development of the World Children's Center.

Open Arms of Blue Ridge-9/2

Enjoy a great night for a great cause at the 3rd Annual Casino Night & Silent Auction on Saturday, September 4th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at "Aska Farms on Aska Road."  It will be an evening of great food, fun, games and music, plus silent and live auction items.  Advance tickets are $25 each, or $30 at the door, and all proceeds benefit Open Arms of Blue Ridge Emergency Assessment Shelter for the Children of Fannin County.  The vision for Open Arms of Blue Ridge is short term placement for abused and neglected children.
